Alojamientos vacacionales en Horombawa

Wij verblijven voor 3,5 maand in Sri Lanka om stage te lopen in Kandy. We hadden dit huisje geboekt voor een maand en konden bijboeken voor de hele periode. Communicatie verliep vlekkeloos, zowel Asela als zijn familie is erg behulpzaam en we voelden ons meteen thuis. Het verblijf is ruim en aangenaam. Wij raden dit aan voor iedereen die naar Kandy wil komen.

We stayed for a couple of days up the hill at Dilrukshi’s place. She had a kind family and we had the most amazing breakfast with her mum a couple of times. The room are nice and the beds are good. The hill is walking distance from the viewpoint but it still feels very serene, since it is at the very top of the hill. Dilrukshi is very good with kids too, our youngest one fell in love I think.

Our stay at this beautiful house couldn’t have been a better way to end our two week tour of Sri Lanka. The open plan design and positioning of the house in its large private grounds is stunning with plenty of space to unwind. The large swimming pool offered hours of fun for us all to relax around and reflect on our amazing journey. Desh and Vasana looked after us so well and the food was some of the best we tasted on our tour. I would highly recommend this place as a start or end to your holiday as it’s only an hour from the airport.

We loved staying so close to nature! We spend almost two weeks here. It’s situated right on the edge of the Udawatta sanctuary, so monkeys visited us quite a few times which was nice to see! It’s not far from the city but when we went food shopping we took the tuktuk back and it cost us around 200 LKR. So if you want something private, calm but also walkable to the centre, this is it. Just mind that it’s close to the forrest and not much light goes in through the trees. But on the other hand the temperature in the apartment was nice due to the location. There’s no need for AC but there’s a fan if you need it. The kitchen has some amenities like rice cooker and smoothie maker. But it could maybe use a bit more cutlery like a new wooden spoon, but things like pan and pots were really good. The WiFi was perfect, no problem with that.

A Perfect Stay – Highly Recommended! We had an amazing stay at Heritage Villa near Airport in Negombo! From the moment we arrived, Chandrika, our host, was incredibly supportive and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The property was in excellent condition, exactly as described in the photos. The beautiful and spacious garden was a highlight, perfect for an evening walk and relaxation. The facilities were top-notch, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free experience. The beds were extremely cozy, allowing for perfect sleep, and the washrooms were spotlessly clean. This villa is ideal for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, and we would especially recommend it for long-term stays. If you’re looking for a serene retreat near the airport with a warm and welcoming host, this is the place to be! Would definitely stay here again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nayan's villa is even more beautiful than on the photos! The view over the beach and palmtrees is fantastic and the pool water is warm enough at all times of the day. We appreciated the various outdoor seating spaces as well as inside under the fan. It's very quiet & private apart from occasional fishermen trucks working on the beach. We have also really enjoyed the caretaker Martinez who tended to our needs every day, including bringing us coconut. We also made use of Pradeep's cooking and enjoyed having local food delivered every day to us to the villa. There was also lots of attention to detail, including beautiful flowers around the house and a fresh water tank, so that we wouldn't have to buy water in advance. Shower gel and shampoo was provided. We experienced a power cut once in the week we stayed for around 4hrs. Battery powered lamps and fans are provided for this case. Thank you Nayan, Martinez and Pradeep for a fantastic holiday! We can definitely recommend this place!

Maybe the best AirBnB property I’ve used? Lovely and spacious home with dreamy outdoor lighting when the sun goes down. So much natural light by day! It was perfect for our meetings and our host + property manager were so gracious. We found out we could purchase meals during our stay and it was certainly the right decision. The food was amazing, delivered on time and servings were generous. Highly recommend!
